Coach Deb KalmbachI can help…

Hi! I’m Deb Kalmbach. I consider myself an “expert” in not-so-perfect marriages. I’ve been there and done that! I’ll be the first to admit I’ve made lots of mistakes and learned many lessons the hard way. Because I know how tough it can be navigating these difficult issues, I’m passionate about being a coach/mentor–encouraging and empowering women like you.

You are not alone! I’ve been where you are.

I believe we teach more with our scars than with our victories. It’s our brokenness that gives us compassion and insight for others who are hurting.

If that’s you, I’m so glad you’re here!

Real hope for real life problems…

  • Consider biblical solutions
  • Gain a new perspective on how to handle challenges in your marriage
  • Develop clarity on next steps to take
  • Implement strategies to help you move forward
  • Renew your hope

It’s possible to embrace a God-honoring life in-the-midst-of what may appear to be hopeless circumstances. I am grateful beyond words for my husband Randy and our almost 49 years of “not-so-perfect” marriage. Hope happens here!

Unassuming Heroes: Wildland Firefighters

When we moved to the Methow Valley in North Central Washington almost 20 years ago, my husband Randy and I were naive about the risks of wildfires. We purchased some property in a high risk fire area, not thinking about the implications of building a home in the...

Because I Said Forever

A recent study indicates that Christian marriages don’t fail as often as secular marriages – they fail more! Debbie Kalmbach, the wife of a recovering alcoholic, understands the longing to leave but offers Christian wives solid reasons to stay in a difficult marriage. This is not a “how to save your marriage” but more a guidebook for wives on how to save their ability to love, to honor their commitment to their husbands, and to maintain their faith in God while in marriages that may never live up to their dreams. Debbie tackles tough questions such as “Why won’t he go to counseling” “Can I change him” and “What do I do when I don’t feel in love anymore” with a warm, compassionate approach sure to encourage and inspire every struggling wife.

Komo's Christmas Delivery

Kosmo, the king of troublesome terriers, takes trouble to a whole new level! He’s a one-of-a-kind, corn-on-the-cob nibbling, ice cream licking, always-into-mischief dog. Kosmo’s Christmas Delivery is told from the point-of-view of an older, but not necessarily wiser dog, Kramer, who laments the acquisition of Kosmo by his family, especially his girl, Emily Jean. When the inquisitive Kosmo jumps on board the Yellow Package delivery truck a few days before Christmas, Kramer, secretly wishes the pup will be lost forever. He reluctantly agrees to help Emily Jean search the snowy streets of their small town for Kosmo. Through a series of unusual events, the missing terrier finally comes home, but not a moment before his older sibling realizes how much he cares about his young friend.
